The [Northern Cross], weapon of the Zodiac Angel of Pisces
It is about 30 cm long, 20 cm of which is the length of the blade. Miki keeps both blades inside a special sheath, strapped onto her belt hidden behind her robe.
Both daggers are wholly made from a mysterious crystal, glittering azure color, and they can instantly freeze any objects upon contact. Like any other Zodiac Angel weapons, the Northern Cross has a safety mechanism to prevent itself from being used by people other than Miki. Anyone else who touches the handle of the daggers will have their hands instantly frozen.
The Northern Cross is light weighted and possesses several special attacks that allow Miki to adapt to just about any battle style.
I like them more if they are made of ice.
I thought about making them out of ice. But then people would ask why it won’t melt, lol.
Dry ice! Or magic. As long as Miki held it, they will forever never melt!
Isn’t Northern Cross one of the spell in star ocean? Lots of star ocean reference.
Actually, that’s Southern Cross that’s a spell (and you’ll see that spell here too in the future). There’s a character in SO2 that uses the attack called ‘Northern Cross’. I believe the Northern Cross is the name for some kind of stars, so this is not exactly a direct reference to Star Ocean series. Plus, the theme of Zodiac Angels is ‘stars’ anyway, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see something resembling the series here and there >_<
